Resize your map

Resize your map
You can now grow or trim your map from any edge after you have started building — no more starting over when the world outgrows its borders.
- NewA new Resize Map dialog (in the View menu, the mobile menu, and Map Settings) lets you add or remove rows and columns from any edge — push an edge outward to grow it, inward to trim. A live outline on the canvas previews the new shape and exact size before you commit, and you can type an exact amount or press and hold an arrow for larger changes.
- NewOne-click “Crop to content” shrinks the map to hug your painted area, “Expand to fit” grows it so nothing sits outside the canvas, and “Clean up” removes any stray hexes left outside the borders.
- NewResizing carries your regions, paths, notes, and point-crawl locations along with the map, drops anything outside the new bounds, warns before removing content, and counts as a single undo.
Map exports
- FixPlayer-view and DM-view PNG exports now actually differ — a player export hides your DM-only notes, secret point-crawl locations, and unexplored fog, instead of looking the same as the DM version.
Path & river editing
- ImprovedThe path tool now traces the actual rendered roads, trails, and rivers — including the way rivers curve together where they meet — so the editing outline matches what you see on the map.
- FixA path’s end handle now sits where the line actually ends — pulled back at a settlement, or right at a river confluence — instead of floating in the middle of the last hex.
- FixSelecting one river in a cluster of joined rivers now highlights just that river, not all of them.
- FixThe marker dots shown where rivers converge now sit on the rivers themselves, at the point each one enters the hex.
Point crawl
- FixTravel-time labels on routes now keep a steady, readable size as you zoom in and out.
General
- ImprovedWhen you hit a rate limit (for example, too many sign-in attempts in a row), the message now tells you exactly how many seconds to wait before trying again.
